Why should we give regular feedback to our team?
Creating the space to exchange feedback, either when receiving or giving them, allows us to establish horizontal communication in a collective work environment. It is a nutritious practice, since it helps us channel, based on our own skills, in a better way our individual performance, which leads to a strengthening of the team.
Regular feedback is a vital instrument for effective and efficient communication within a team. Regular feedback support, develop and take cognizance of each member in the team.
Regular feedback gives the team a sense of direction towards achieving set goals.
Because it is a kind of evaluation to the team and a way to improve their work performance. If not feedback is given to the individuals of a team, they will always think that they are working correctly and no motivation for them to innovate. On the other hand, it is vital to give feedback for an employee who work better to motivate and empower him as he will strive to excel and take more responsibilities.
Because it keeps people motivated; if not, they might feel unimportant and disengage ... It helps then the staff to know better their strengths, know that they can count on them... and to try to improve on their weaknesses. Also providing regular feedback is important so that the person is not totally surprised when comes the formal yearly evaluation.
Also when feedbacks are not shared, there are things that are not said (non-dits) that will make the relationship less fluid.
