Anti-corruption resources for trainers (English)

About this resource

This resource library provides MSF trainers and LnD managers with access to the training materials for organising Anti-Corruption face-to-face trainings for field teams. It contains presentations and exercise materials such as videos, case studies, tests, all aimed at helping to understand, identify, and fight corruption in all MSF settings.

Target audience

This resource library is for MSF trainers and LnD managers. It is also suitable for Finance Coordinators seeking to organise Anti-Corruption face-to-face (F2F) trainings locally.

Learning objectives

Trainers and managers will be able to:
  • provide an overview of the types of corruption and explain why corruption cases occur.
  • explain the impact of corruption on MSF as an organization.
  • facilitate practice sessions for managing scenarios and corruption cases.
  • guide participants on how and when to report corruption, including identifying appropriate channels within MSF.
  • inform participants about the support available within MSF to address corruption issues.

Methodology

Trainers’ materials include:

  • Structured slideshow which helps trainers deliver clear and effective sessions. The presenter’s notes contain instructions on how to present each slide.
  • Videos and video scripts: Visual content explaining the following anti-corruption concepts:

      1. how to define corruption: Anti-Corruption Guidelines 
      2. types of corruption 
      3. how to prevent corruption 
      4. how to detect corruption 
      5. when and how to react and report

  • Case studies (downloadable): scenarios, providing practical insights and feedback.
  • Test (downloadable): interactive assessment to evaluate and reinforce understanding.
  • Useful links: a list of MSF resources for further reference.

Note: All printable materials are formatted to be easily translated into local languages if needed.

Certification 

Upon the completion of F2F training, trainers can award participants a training attendance certificate. Note there is no certificate available on Tembo.

Enrolment 

Trainers who meet the criteria above, and who have been granted access, will be provided with an enrolment key to access this space. .
