Target audience

The E-Nitial Supply Chain Management training is designed for new collaborator in the MSF Supply Chain and non-supply collaborators. It is an introduction to the MSF Supply chain allowing all participant to understand the impact of each step of the supply chain on the operations

About the Resource

In this course participants will practice and fell more skilled and aware of the need to develop the competences related to project&people management. Requirements From the technical side: 2 missions of professional experience, level 9 or above, LTT course already taken (recommended).

Target audience

The MSF LOT 2.0 is aimed at MSF logistic personnel with level 9 or above.

Learning Objectives

The LOT 2.0 (Logistic Operational Training) is aimed to improve the participants’ capacities to identify, plan and organize the tactical logistic responses given “operational contexts.

Methodology

This training offers an initial online section and a 10-day face to face training. The face is to face training is mainly based in an induction where you will put the LOG Managers management skills into practice in a simulated environment. The LOT training will require a considerable amont of cooperative work in teams, as well as individual work more related to the specific logistic family you are expert in.

This course is a digital solution for the transfer of technical and managerial knowledge to polyvalent and technical logisticians.

Target audience

The course is open to logisticians generalist, logisticians level 6 and above, specialist logisticians level 7 and above, needing a comprehension of the different domains of logistics.

Objective of the course is to transfer technical and basic managerial knowledge to polyvalent and technical logisticians through a digital solution.

About the Course

Basic online course on the Geographical Information System within MSF.

Target audience

MSF field and coordination staff (expat and NS) practically involved in the following activity planning and monitoring: Remote management; Security management; Logistics; response to Natural disaster; Site planning (closed & open settings); Epidemiology; Water-Hygiene-Sanitation.

Learning Objectives

About the Course

The OCG logistics e-briefing is a mandatory, self paced e-learning course that aims to prepare logisticians new to MSF for their first position. Learners will get to know the basics of all logistics technical families, including the risks and benefits associated as well as their responsibilities.

Target Audience

All LOG staff level 6 and up before first position (internationally mobile staff) or at the start of their first position (locally hired staff)

Methodology

Learners will work through the modules at their own pace, covering necessary theoretical concepts, risks and benefits, and the logitician's role. Content will be presented in text, image and video format.

At the end of each module, learners engage in scenarios mirroring real-life situations they may encounter in their roles. These practical exercises provide them with an opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge and skills they've acquired, effectively preparing them to navigate the challenges inherent in their role as an MSF logistician.

Evaluation

To pass this course, learners will have to complete all the modules including the integrated knowledge checks and scenarios.

Certification

After successful completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate and a digital badge awarded by MSF OCG.

A propos du cours

Cours de base en ligne sur le Système d'Information Géographique (GIS) au sein de MSF.

Public cible

Cette formation s'adresse principalement aux logisticiens et aux principaux utilisateurs. Pour les personnes qui veulent
savoir comment les GIS fonctionnent chez MSF et pratiquer les outils cartographiques de base.

Objectifs d'apprentissage

Les participants acquerront des connaissances leur permettant d'avoir un certain degré d'autonomie pour gérer les
données géographiques, utiliser un outil de collecte de données ainsi que les outils cartographiques de base.

This course is an introduction to Windows Server 2019. 

This is a pre-requisite for OCG's “FiWi” course (included and mandatory in the FiWi course's frame).

Target audience

Everyone, (but targeted at MSF staff dealing with ICT (IS Officers, Logisticians, etc.)).

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course learners will be able to explain the following concepts of Windows Server 2019:

  • How to install Microsoft Windows Server 2019, Windows domain, domain controller, Active Directory

The goal of this curriculum is to level up every IS Officer/Supervisor before the migration to FiWi.

In order to connect the dots and see how everything works together in the kit, training session/round table discussions will be also organized. This course is a pre-requisite to those F2F sessions.
