Methodology
MEMA training consists of 12 e-learning modules.
These modules are prerequisites for a week long in-person training. Contact your HR manager for details.
Target audience
MSF staff with limited field experience, activity manager, level 9, all professions.

Indicative duration for 12 e-learning modules : 10h
Learning Objectives
MEMA training provides MSF staff technical and methodological tools to coordinate and implement external and mass activities projects, with a focus on nutrition, malaria and vaccination interventions. At the end of this training, you will be able to :
- Analysing a context and define population needs
- Choosing a strategy for external and mass activities
- Planning and implementing activities selected,
- Monitoring pertinence and quality of activities according to the context and proposing some opérational adjustements

- Module 1 : Developing an intervention strategy and project cycle
- Module 2 : Security : introduction to risk analysis
- Module 3 : Primary health care and levels of activities
- Module 4 : Epidemiological surveillance and program monitoring
- Module 5 : Cartographic representation supporting operations – introduction to GIS
- Module 6 : Vaccination strategies
- Module 7 : Cold chain managment
- Module 8 : Define a supply strategy for external and mass activities
- Module 9 : Care and prevention of malaria in external and mass activities
- Module 10 : Nutrition programs and strategy
- Module 11 : WASH strategies in external and mass activities
- Module 12: Introduction to Health Promotion and Community Engagement
Enrolment
If you are not selected for the in-person MEMA training, you can still access the e-learning modules without registration. We invite you to contact your direct or pool manager if you are interested in registering for the full training (e-learning modules + in person training).
Methodology
Interactive modules including quizes, small case studies, videos, etc.
Evaluation
There are quizes embedded in certain modules but there is no final evaluation for this course.
Certification
This course is awarded with a badge upon completion of all the modules.
