Supply Chain Data Management Essentials

About the course

Data management is a crucial daily responsibility for the supply workforce. The Supply Chain Data Management Essentials course, the first on supply data, aims to teach you its key concepts, areas of influence, and terminology. 

This course is considered as an integral part of the onboarding journey of all the Supply Chain staff. We recommend completing this course within the first 2 months of your initial assignment.

Target audience

The primary target audience is all newly recruited OCB Supply Chain program staff from level 7 of the IRFFG and above.

All other profiles that might have an interest in understanding Supply Data Management at OCB are free to take this course at their own  pace.

Duration

A minimum of 90 minutes is needed to complete the course.

Validation

This course is validated by the OCB Supply Chain Department.

Learning objectives

At the end of this course, learners will be able to:

  • explain the concept of data governance and management, including the main disciplines in the context of MSF supply chain management.
  • explain the roles and responsibilities of the different actors generating and/or using supply chain data.
  • coach supply team members to make them autonomous in Supply data management while demonstrating a data-informed mindset.

Methodology

This course is made of eLearning activities that combine multimedia materials and texts, practical exercises, and concrete practical tips.

Certification

  • A badge will be automatically generated upon completion of the course.
  • A certificate will be available after completion of the course and submission of the feedback questionnaire.

This course is a self-enrollment one, learners can enroll themselves freely.

Technical considerations

This course is best completed on a computer, with a mouse to allow scrolling down within the eLearning activities, and a headset for multi-media activities.
