About the course
Onboarding for Mental Health Activity Managers (MHAMs) in OCA is a self-paced course by OCA which will guide Mental Health Activity Managers (MHAMs) and their medical line managers through a structured onboarding process for the first 3 months of their contract in a Project/Country Programme.
The main activities are in English, but the Onboarding Template document is also accessible in French.
Target audience
This course is for Mental Health Activity Managers in the first months of a new contract in a new country programme. Supervisors in the role of MTLs, PMRs and MedCos will be granted access as tutors.
Duration
Depending on their prior experience MHAMs are expected to take 50-100 hrs of their time over 3 months to complete the full Onboarding Plan.
When the completed document is resubmitted after +/- 3 months, there will be a short exit quiz and then participants will receive a Tembo Badge.
Learning objectives
At the end of this Onboarding MHAMs and their Line Managers should have a gain the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to perform successfully in their role and contribute to the Project Mental Health Activities and Mission Strategy on Mental Health.List of contents

Evaluation
To pass this course Learners will have to complete the activities and a KAS evaluation form after 3 months.Certification
After successful completion of this course, participants will receive a digital badge awarded by MSF OCA.
