About this course

Technical Logistics Basics (TLB) (Blended) is a resource content space linked to the face-to-face TLB training. This training aims to empower logisticians in their basic technical roles. They will apply the procedures and methods used by MSF in the technical areas of logistics.

Target audience

Generalist Log with at least 6 months of field experience.Typically: Log Base Supervisor, Assistant and Manager, who needs to upgrade and broaden their technical skills (back-pack 24l).

Duration

  • 8 days face-to-face training in Centre Jacques Pinel in Bordeaux (France). 
  • One week prior, completion of this online resource.

Learning objectives

At the end of this training, you will be able to apply Log basics.

  • People Management.

Methodology

Lectures, practical, interactive, and hands-on exercises.

Evaluation

A Pre and Post-KAS (Knowledge Attitude Skills) assessment will be conducted.  

After each module a satisfaction survey will be conduct and a final course satisfaction evaluation will be done at the end of the training.

Certification

A badge and certificate of attendance are issued on completion of all satisfaction and knowledge surveys.

Requirements/Prerequisites

To have been selected to partake in the F2F TLB.

Enrolment

Only trainees having applied and having been selected to partake in OCB's TLB can have access to this space (Restricted to OCB and OCP staff). Enrolment is hence manual.

Technical considerations

Participants should bring their laptops and smartphones for use in several modules. Extra laptops and mobile phones can be provided for those who do not have their own.
