About the course
Welcome to our OCP OFM-Log** (Onboarding for Managers - Logistics) e-learning module on Tembo.
**(Note that the name of the training has changed - from PPD-L to OFM-Log - in 2025...but don't worry, it's the same traning, just a different name).**

The OCP OFM-Log (Onboarding for Managers - Logistics) is a 2 STEP process:
STEP 1 / E-LEARNING - here on Tembo
STEP 2 / VIRTUAL CLASSES - over multiple days (online via Zoom or MS Teams) with experienced MSF Facilitators

Target audience
The “Onboarding for Managers - Logistics” course is designed to prepare logisticians who will hold a manager position (level 9) for the first time.
It can be either a new logistician that is about to start their first assignement with MSF or already experienced logisticians who are moving up to a manager position (level 9).
Duration of the E-learning on Tembo
It will take you approximately between 10 to 15 hours to complete Step 1 / E-Learning here on Tembo (this is an estimation, depending on your pace...Take your time, it will be worth it !
Learning objectives
By the end of the course the participant will be able to:
1) Identify roles and responsabilities of Logistic Managers
2) Prioritize and organize logistic activities
3) Contribute to continued support of MSF's medical humanitarian operations

The course consist in interactive e-learning modules using a combination of multimedia materials (video, audio, text, animation) as well as quizzes.

Technical considerations:
For STEP 1 / E-Learning
This E-learning step on Tembo is best completed on a computer laptop.
Hyperlinks or links to websites are NOT available if you have downloaded the course and are completing it offline. (You will need to have internet access to view them).
For STEP 2 / VIRTUAL CLASSES
This full onboarding training also includes some virtual classes (on Zoom or MS Teams),
You will receive an email from our OCP Learning & Development Team for details on how to attend the virtual classes - after you have been invited by your pool manager.
For the virtual classes, you will need to have a good internet access and a laptop or desktop computer (with good screen) for the virtual classes - it will not be possible to attend virtual classes on a phone or tablet.
