About the Course

This course is for anyone interested in learning more about MSF-OCBA HMIS, especially medical and non-medical personnel working with health data such as:

- Medical profiles: MHAM, Psychologists, Data Encoders, Data Analysts, Data Managers, Epidemiologists.

The course enables you to learn about HMIS (Health Management Information System) Mental Health Program by going through different learning modules.

All modules are self-learning, which means that you can do the activities by yourself, without the support of a teacher. However, you will find open communication channels to be used in case you have doubts about doing the activities, and also for you to share your thoughts or ideas about the course.

Completing the training entitles you to the HMIS certificate and badge. We remind you that to complete each module, and therefore the training, you will have to complete ALL the activities.

Learners will be able to download a Certificate once they have completed the course. And obtain the badge that certifies that you have acquired the skills associated with the course objectives.

The duration of this course is approximately 5 hours.

    By the end of the course the learner will be able to:

    ·Enter a patient's data, modify it, and correct mistakes

    ·Schedule consultations, change consultations, and close and reopen the patient's file.

    ·Find the documentation to support the data entry

    ·Understand the HMIS MSF-OCBA data flow

    ·Be familiar with HMIS mental health data: data elements and indicators

    -Use HMIS Data Visualiser App

    ·Create tables and charts for data analysis

    ·Identify the main elements for HMIS data analysis: What, when, where,

    ·Configure your own dashboard
