About the course
Pharma
E-ssential 2 builds upon the knowledge acquired from the Pharma E-ssential 1
training. It is designed to introduce new pharmacists & medical
coordinators to management of pharmacy activities within a country at the
coordination level. It includes recommendations concerning selection,
importation constraints and local procurement & validation.
Target audience
OCP pharmacy coordinators
For first mission OCP pharmacy & medical coordinators, we recommend the modules are completed before your departure or at the beginning of your mission. These modules will complete the briefing you will have with the medical department & MSF logistic.Duration
The 3 online modules take approximately 4 hours to complete.
Learning objectives
At the end of the training, you will be able to:
- Review & adjust a project’s Medical Standard List (MSL).
- Identify & manage importation constraints.
- Understand your responsibilities & MSF management processes for local procurement.
- Identify & use available MSF tools for selection, importation regulations & local procurement processes.
