About the course
The FINCO Course is an introduction to allow participants to carry out their tasks in the field. This course is also a good introduction to Finance Management in MSF for all members of the Finance Department (in the field and also in headquarters).
The main aim of this course is to allow Finance Coordinators to get a better understanding of the complexity of Finance Management in MSF missions and identify their main tasks and responsibilities, the complexity of which is more due to the specific contexts where MSF works than to the technical level of MSF finances.
The modality of this course is just self-learning , which means the student will work at her own pace. The course includes self-learning activities, quizzes , videos and access to resources and tools. In order to get closer to the real scenarios that the FINCO faces in his/her position, we have designed a series of simulations where students will have the opportunity to observe common and realistic situations in a FINCO’s office.
