About the course
Effective
preparation for managing patients with DR TB requires both theoretical learning
and practice and discussion under the oversight of experienced
clinicians. This course is the compulsory theoretical study that needs to
be successfully completed to enrol in a tutored online course or an in-person
face-to-face course.
Target audience
The target group for this training is only doctors and clinical officers actively managing patients with DR TB.
Validation
This course is validated by the TB working group under the oversight and leadership of Dr. Cathy Hewison.

They are given access to all the online study material on the Tembo platform and are given eight weeks to complete the required study. This includes submission of certificates of satisfactory completion of each module.
- Participants who have submitted all the required certificates are notified of their confirmation onto the second phase of the course which starts two months later.
