Information Security Training Part 1
About the Course

This course is a foundational security awareness training program to raise MSFJ employees’ security awareness and to provide them with practical tips and best practices for working more securely in remote work environments. This training lasts approximately 15 minutes and was designed to be engaging and is based on scenarios staff may face.

Target audience

This course is mandatory for all of the MSF Japan staff to better understand the potential information security risks and threats in remote work environments. Completion of either Japanese course or English course is required.   

Duration

This course is approximately 15 minutes. Participants are expected to complete the course within a month after receiving the training invitation.

Learning objectives

At the end of this course, participants should be able to understand the potential security risks and threats with remote work environments and learn how to avoid them.

List of contents

The course will cover the following 7 topics:  MSFJ’s Devices Only, Software Installation, Phishing emails and Suspicious URL, Public Wi-Fi, Data Sharing with External Parties, Confidentiality in Public Places, Incident Reporting.

Evaluation

MSFJ ISC team will keep tracking learners’ completion status for record keeping purposes. There is no test.

Certification

After successful completion of this course, participants will receive a digital badge awarded by MSF Japan.

Technical considerations

The course is best completed on a computer only and not fit for mobile devices because of the size of the file.
