About the course
This online course introduces digital information and Knowledge Management tools and best practices at MSF OCG, with a focus on mission private SharePoint sites.
Target audience
This course is recommended for all field staff who work with MSF documents and private SharePoint sites. After completing the course, participants will be able to effectively manage digital information using the appropriate tool, and securely collaborate and co-edit files.

Learning objectives
By the end of the course, participants will describe the fundamental principles of Information and Knowledge Management (I&KM) within MSF OCG and understand the role of digital tools in managing and sharing mission information. They will recognize how proper Information Management improves efficiency, security, and institutional memory. Participants will outline the Information Management Life Cycle and apply best practices for naming, saving, archiving, and deleting files in alignment with OCG policies. They will navigate private SharePoint sites, use key functions to store, organize, and manage documents, and structure information following the OCG Standard Folder Structure. Additionally, they will learn to share and co-edit documents securely to support collaboration.
