About the Course

Rapid Qualitative Assessment tool on vaccination decision-making processes has been designed to explore the RQA vax Tool so the learners can use it. It contains an introductory module on the general tool's approach, a module on how to use the tool to analyze qualitative data, and an optional module on how to limit bias during qualitative assessment data collection This training is aimed at Health Promoter Managers and Health Promoter supervisors.


Target Audience

  • Health Promoter managers and Health Promoter supervisors -It has been designed specifically for non-expert in social science/qualitative research. 
  • The learners still need to have a basic experience in qualitative data collection as the training won’t go into detail on that part.


Learning Objectives

On successful completion of the course, learners will be able to:
  • recognise the RQA tool and its conditions of use
  • identify different types of bias that can impact the quality of data collected and define ways to mitigate. 
  • analyze Focus group / Interviews transcripts using the tool. · 
  • analyze collected data through the tool’s analytical framework.
  • identify factors and subfactors of the analytical framework from given Focus Group Discussion transcripts.
  • extract relevant information from given FGD transcripts
  • formulate contextual factors from given FGD transcripts

Methodology

The course is entirely self-paced and participants may complete the course at their own pace. To support the learning objectives, the course includes case studies, knowledge checks, and reflective exercises.


Evaluation

Learners need to complete an interactive eLearning activity and get at least 80% in the following quiz.


Certification 

On successful completion, participants are awarded a certificate and a digital badge.
