ABOUT THE COURSE

In this course, you will learn in an interactive and reflective way how to apply different management tools and concepts to be able to have an impact on the quality and the efficiency of the medical programs in your project.

Only candidates who have been validated to be in the PC/MTL pool will be invited to the PCM/IMMC. For more information as to how to get validated for the pool, please contact your career or pool manager.

If you want to apply for a course, discuss this with your Line Manager. They in turn will discuss with the HR Coordinator (HRCo). After initial approval in the mission, you should complete the online application form. After submitting your application via this form, make sure that the required recommendation letter is sent to Amsterdam.DevelopmentOfficer@amsterdam.msf.org Please ask the person who needs to recommend you for this course (as stated in the course brochure or announcement per specific course), to write the recommendation letter. The L&D Manager or HRCO will then send this to Amsterdam.DevelopmentOfficer@amsterdam.msf.org

CERTIFICATION

Candidates will be given face-to-face certificates. Also, they will receive a badge upon completion for each knowledge area (PMC / IMMC).

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

You are a PC, an MTL, Nursing Director, Clinical Director or Hospital Coordinator or you will be assigned to one of these positions within 6 months after this course, and you have not attended a previous PMC or IMMC.

• Medical facility requirements in the project and its effect on quality of care; supervising the facility components based on set criteria’s
• How to supervise and monitor medical quality in the project, roles and responsibilities with regards to medical incident policy; handling ethical dilemmas
