Infection Prevention Control
ABOUT THE COURSE
This training package covers essential and advanced topics relevant to infection prevention and control (IPC) in health care facilities. The content discussed in the modules is intended to help build your knowledge and guide IPC implementation and policy development in your health facility. While this course is comprehensive, it is not exhaustive on all topics associated with implementing IPC programmes.

HOW TO ENROL

In order to access this course, you need to have a Tembo account, if you haven’t got a Tembo account already, please do create one by clicking on the profile at the top of this page and following the instructions. Once completed, please send your name, the email address with which you registered and the name of this course to Amsterdam.DevelopmentOfficer@amsterdam.msf.org and ask to be registered for the course. All requests will be handled on a Wednesday of each week. You will receive an email a few days later to let you know that you have registered for this course. TARGET AUDIENCE

This course is aimed at all health care workers, specifically for IPC managers, supervisors, and focal persons.

CERTIFICATION

Once you have completed both levels of the programme you will receive a certificate of completion and a badge. The certificate will be available once the course co-ordination has checked that you have completed the programme. This review is done once a month so the certificate will not be obtained immediately after completing the programme. You also will receive a badge after you have completed each course.

  • Level 1: 28 hours
  • Level 2: 47 hours
