Coaching Education – Team Coaching Path

About the course

The Coaching Education - Individual Coaching Path is aimed at training participants to become team coaches.

Target audience

MSF staff that meet the selection criteria can apply. Calls for applications are done once every 12 to 18 months and announced on the MCHub website.

Validation

MSF staff that meet the Target Audience criteria.

Validated by the Mentoring & Coaching Hub, MSF Norway.

Duration

150 hours spread over 4 modules.

Learning objectives

At the end of the coaching education, participants will become team coaches and join the pool of MSF internal coaches.

List of contents

The Coaching Education to become Team Coach consists of two online modules and two face-to-face modules.

  • Introduction and Practice (Online)
  • Face to Face practice 1
  • Face to Face practice 2
  • Practice and application (Online)

Methodology

The setup is interactive with lots of practising during and in between the modules.

Evaluation

Participants are required to successfully complete all four modules plus other activities like coaching practice, be coached, and peer support groups. 

Certification

After successful completion the participants will receive a certificate and a digital badge.

Requirements

MSF staff that meet the selection criteria and have been selected.

Be able to understand and communicate in English at minimum level B2.

Technical considerations

Technical requirements for the online modules:

  • Access to a computer for private use.
  • Stable internet connection.
  • Have access to Zoom for the live sessions.
  • Have access to Tembo.
  • Be able to attend the online sessions in a private and quiet space, 
and
  • Be able to travel to attend the Face-to-Face modules.
