Intermediate Human Resources and Finance Training (FORI HRFIN) (OCP)
About the course

The FORI HRFIN training (Intermediate Human Resources and Finance Training) is the second step of the project HR/FIN managers path. At the end of the training, the participants will be able to ensure appropriate management of HR and financial resources for their project (in order to achieve the project operational objectives).

Target audience

OCP Staff who has already done at least one mission as a project HR/FIN manager (minimum 6 months).

Duration

5 hours of prerequisites + 10 half-days of virtual class over 2 weeks.

If, on the other hand, you wish to register, discuss your interest with your line manager and your HR Coordinator (if you are a national staff member) or your Pool and Career Manager (if you are an international staff member).  (enrolment through homere/oracle)

Learning objectives

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Find solutions to the obstacles of the basics
  • Position yourself in the project team and in your manager-assistant relationship 
  • Ensure enforcement of project HR policies & tools
  • Analyze and adjust the budget follow-up according to the developments in a project
  • Ensure the disciplinary procedure is followed
  • Participate in the composition of the teams by aligning project requirements and constraints
  • Analyze the quality of the accounting
  • Represent MSF as an employer with the staffs and with external interlocutors
  • Build a multi-year budget in collaboration with the project team
  • Analyze and propose measures to the security risks in a projec
