Chronic Hepatitis. Introduction

About the Course 

Chronic hepatitis course is designed to enable medical staff addressing specific challenges of chronic hepatitis in MSF projects, better provide comprehensive approach to diagnosis and treatment.

This self-paced online course is composed of 5 independent and complementary modules. 

They are:

  • Introduction to Chronic Hepatitis
  • Hepatitis B
  • Hepatitis C
  • End-Stage Liver Disease
  • Operational management in the field

Introduction to Chronic hepatitis

This module will enable you to understand the basic concepts of chronic hepatitis including epidemiology, modes of transmission prevention, and management.

In particular, you will cover the epidemiology and burden of Hepatitis in MSF context and its impact on vulnerable populations, basic notions on physiopathology, modes of transmission and prevention/management and the evolution of untreated Chronic Heptatitis: ESLD

30 Minutes

Target Audience: 

Medical Staff: Medical doctors, nurses, midwives.

Self-learning online course with activities.  

Certification:  

Participants will receive a badge on completion.
