About the Course
This mandatory MSF-OCA Digital Hygiene eLearning aims to equip all staff with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the digital landscape securely and responsibly. It includes good practices such as software updates, passwords management, backups and securing data, including proactive measures individuals can take to safeguard their digital identity and contribute to a safer online community. By the end of this e-learning, you will be aware of the risks in digital landscape, strategies to protect yourself and report to the right teams any suspicious activity or data breach. 

Target Audience

This course is available and mandatory for all MSF-OCA staff that have an MSF email account and/or interacts with any MSF-OCA digital systems to be aware of the risks in the digital landscape and proactive measures individuals can take to safeguard their digital identity.

Learning Objectives

After completing this course, you will be able to: 

  • Explain the key concepts and conditions of good Digital Hygiene 
  • Demonstrate the actions you need to take to practice Digital Hygiene; ensure updates are done, establish secure passwords, protect from malware, complete backups and secure data. 
  • Justify why digital hygiene is important for ensuring a safe and secure ICT Environment in MSF-OCA

Methodology

During this course learners will go over good practices and tricks using a combination of multimedia materials, required to complete quizzes after each module and at the end of the course to evaluate retention of the information and awareness of associated risks and impacts. 

Certification

After successful completion of this course, participants will receive a digital badge awarded by MSF-OCA 

Requirements

There are no pre-requisites to enrol in this course, it is mandatory to all MSF-OCA staff with an email account and / or access to MSF-OCA digital system
