About the course

This mandatory self-paced course will trigger a reflection on the theme of abuse and will introduce MSF's policy in regards of the behavioural commitments.

Target audience

It is aimed at all OCP employees in the field (national, international and visitors).

Duration

You shall count two hours to complete it and you can achieve it in several times without losing the progress already made.

Learning objectives

At the end of this e-briefing, you will be able to: 

  • Identify the types of abuse as defined by MSF principles
  • Know how to react to situations of abuse or inappropriate behavior.
  • Know your roles and responsibilities, as well as those of the organization, in terms of preventing, detecting and reporting abuse.
  • Explain the mechanisms for reporting cases, the sanctions process, and support for victims
  • Identify the origin of MSF policies and principles and the adoption of commitments to responsible behavior.

Methodology

The course has been designed with individual learning tools and relies on the resolution of various scenarios where the response to mini quizzes is non-penalizing.

There is also a series of short videos and many resource documents.

The sequence of modules has been designed in such a way that we recommend you follow them in the order in which they appear for better understanding.

Certification

To complete the e-briefing you will have to complete all the mandatory modules, which will allow you to obtain a TEMBO badge and a certificate of completion of the briefing.
