ForHOP Katsina - project oriented hospital training
About the course

The ForHOP is a multidisciplinary team operational training that gives the opportunity for the hospital management team to work together in identifying and analysing problems/challenges within their hospital. Modules will cover specific topics and frameworks on hospital management within MSF. The workshop will include debates and discussion around Katsina project management and the role of each person in working together to manage the hospital.

Target audience

OCP hospital supervisors and managers, and the coordination team (transversal).

Duration

4 e.learnings (5hours) with 15 hours of virtual classes.

Learning objectives

  • Analyse the activity of the services / hospital in terms of standards, using indicators.  
  • Propose an action plan adapted to the context 
  • Take initiatives in providing suggestion to adapt the action to the context and the activity.

  2. Clinical skills: Infection prevention and control 
  3. Biomedical equipment and Waste & Water management 
  4. Epidemiology 
  5. The fundamentals of Quality Care 
  6. Pharmacy  

Methodology

E.learnings, 6 virtual classes with PPT/games/team discussions and brainstorms, 4 days of workshop.

Certification

No badge on Tembo, the trainees will have a ForHOP certificate by the hospital management team at the end of the training.

Enrolment 

This training is offered to Katsina project and other projects under coordination team validation. 

If you belong to the Katsina project, you will receive the password to access the course.
