About the Course

This Module is part of the OPD program organized in 9 Modules.

In this module you will do activities related to malnutrition. You will discover the correct methods used to perform an anthropometric assessment, together with the diagnosis and management of malnutrition and anaemia. 

The activities will be based on problem-solving. They will guide you in building your own knowledge and skills to be able to produce your own hypotheses and decisions regarding diagnosis and treatment. 

Content

The training units are composed of different participative activities. They are divided as follow: 

• Unit 1: Anthropometric Assessment 
• Unit 2: Severe Acute Malnutrition 
• Unit 3: Stunting in children 
• Unit 4: Anaemia 
• Evaluation
