MSF Telemedicine: for volunteer medical specialists

About the Course

This course has been created for specialists who have been accepted into the volunteer pool for MSF Telemedicine's Clinical Case Management Service. The course will guide you through how to support a case from creation to closure.

On completion of the course, you should have a general understanding of Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders’ work, and know how to navigate the Telemedicine platform.

The course has 7 sections and takes 45 minutes to complete. You will be asked to view 5 videos and complete some short readings and a quiz.

You may complete the course in sections, coming back when you have time to complete each activity. Once you have completed the course you will be provided your credentials to login to the Telemedicine platform.

Target Audience

Specialist volunteers who have been validated to participate in MSF Telemedicine to support our project staff using the secure online Case Management Platform.

This is an open course but content is specific to people who support cases and not those who create cases (MSF project staff).

Participants can expect to spend 45 minutes completing this self-paced course.


Methodology

During this self-paced course participants will be taught about the Telemedicine program and platform. Much of the content is text, with some videos that demonstrate MSF’s work in action. There is a short quiz on the content on the course.

To pass this course participants must view each page.
