About the Course

 

General Objective

This training aims to provide the principles of nutrition treatment and the management of a nutrition treatment center.


Specific Objectives

After this training, participants will be able to:

 

• Define different types of malnutrition

• Measure malnutrition and interpret anthropometric indices

• Nutritional and medical management of malnourished patients

• Organise a feeding program including ordering food


Target group

Medical or paramedical staff who will be in charge of a Nutrition program in the field.

 

Pedagogical approach  

This course uses a simulation methodology based on the use of examples and case studies for different nutrition scenarios. 


Duration: 20 hours


Certification: the course provides a badge and a certificate when you complete it.
