Community Engagement

About the Course

Course Summary

Course

As stated in the Strategic Orientations 2020-2023 “Community engagement strategies, active listening and involvement of patients and communities in the design, monitoring and implementation of our programs will become a cornerstone of our action. Our commitment with community-based interventions and support to health structures will be adapted to each individual context, giving priority to access and quality of care. Given the fact that health systems are mainly facility and hospital based, decentralised models of care will be instrumental to bring our action to the most in need and in the most hard-to-reach places. We will define and base our medical action on people-centred frameworks.”

So how to do that? In this course you will learn the fundamentals to put that in practice.
