About the Course
LogOn provides a Live online standardized onboarding opportunity for all OCA logs. It gives opportunity to undergo or refresh onboarding with a specific focus on your Logistics role; Explore access to useful information channels; Meet other logisticians for safe peer-to-peer learning; Learn about the support structures in place to help with the work; Ask questions that come up during onboarding.
Target Audience
New OCA logs in the field level 6 till 9 (<6 months MSF supervisor/manager experience).
Duration
2 times 2 hrs webinar (interval of about every 2 months) + 1.5 hr Self Learning Homework exercise.
Learning Objectives
- Understand the principles of MSF
- Explain in own words what it means to be a log within MSF
- Understand and practice of Plan-Do-Check-Act
- Understand how the logistics support structure works
- Explain in own words the importance of collaboration and comprehensive needs analysis prior to planning log development activities
- Recognize that reporting is for the Log and their project/mission. Illustrate how reporting & analysis can benefit the log.
