Welcome to Neonatal Injectable Medication Administration Course!


General Objective

The aim of this course is to improve your understanding and capacity to apply the main mechanisms that enhance the safe and effective administration of injectable medication in neonatal care. 


Duration of the course 5 hours


Target Audience

This course is especially targeting nurses, as primarily responsible for safe medication administration. The course is mainly oriented to nurses providing care to sick neonatal patients, either in the Neonatal Unit, the Paediatric ward or in the Maternity department.

Other health care staff involved in the medication use process (prescribers such as clinicians, clinical officers…) may also benefit, but are not specifically targeted in this course.

Certification

Participants will be awarded with a badge and a certificate upon completion of all the modules of the course and passed with a 80% minimum score the final assessment.
