About the Course

This training covers the following tools and concepts relevant to managing logistics in a mission; influencing styles for managers and their application, emergency response, MSF project planning, managing security, managing on-going logistics activities, planning logistics projects and logistics reporting and analysis. Participants also prepare a course assignment (in pairs) based on an operational scenario and present their results on the final training day.

OBJECTIVE

Participants will identify and practise using tools and concepts to effectively:

• Define approaches related to operational logistics management

• Manage on-going logistics activities

• Plan logistics projects

• Manage the persons that you have to work with

WHO IS THIS RESOURCE FOR?

First position as a (Deputy) LogCo or (Deputy) SupplyCo, with a minimum Proficiency of B2 in English.
